Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter with honey and brown sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla, then remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, barley flakes, walnuts, cashews, and salt.
- Pour the honey mixture over and stir well until everything is coated and sticky.
- Press firmly into the prepared pan, evening out the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden but still soft in the middle.
- Cool completely in the pan (at least 2 hours) before cutting into bars.
